Refund and Cancellation Policy



FOR EVENTS IN GOA:

The base price of the tickets for the events published on the Event Page shall be fixed by the Organiser ("Base Price"). Hifi Booking shall collect directly from the Users the Base Price as well as a transaction fee as specified in the pricing schedule published on the Hifi Booking website, for every ticket booked through the Platform ("Booking Fee"). The Base Price and the Booking Fee are collectively called the "Event Registration Fee". Organizer authorizes Hifi Booking to process the Event Registration Fee through Hifi Booking’s partnered payment gateways. The Parties shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party payment gateways.

Upon receiving the Event Registration Fee from the Users, Hifi Booking shall transfer the Base Price to the Organiser. The amount shall be transferred to the Organiser’s bank account, details of which shall be provided in the payout settings on the Platform at the time of the creation of the Brand Page.

Hifi Booking shall have no liability and will make no refund towards any request from the Users. The Users must directly contact the Organiser with respect to any refund-related queries. In the event of refunds due to cancellation of the event, postponement, overbooking, strike, force majure, or any other causes, Hifi Booking will refund 90% of the tickets fees.

Hifi Booking shall not be responsible for any refund request for the booking fee due to cancellation by user and any other handling fee collected by Hifi Booking are non-refundable.


FOR VILLA RENTALS AND RESORT BOOKINGS:

Unless explicitly specified 3 days prior to cancellation, bookings done on Hifi Booking are non-refundable. Once a user books a villa or a resort, the user will have to refer to the resort’s or villa’s 'Refund & cancellation' policy. An email will need to be sent by the user to the resort or villa informing them of the cancellation on the booking done through Hifi Booking. Typically a refund will be done partially after 7 days of cancellation provided the property agrees to the refund. The refunded amount is usually transferred to the user over net banking.

We recommend users to check the 'Refund & cancellation' policies of Resorts and Villas before booking. In case the same isn't explicitly shared on our website by the property owner, we recommend for the same to be checked via email.

In the event of refunds due to cancellation or postponement by the resort or villa, overbooking, strike, force majure, or any other causes, 95% of the booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is done by the owner.
